It is concerning a micro brewery we intend to open on our farm.We are unable to do this in Milford because it is still considered a dry community and has been since the days of Prohibition. This means liquor can not be made or sold there. If this plebiscite passes Milford could see a microbrewery and possibly a vineyard. We would be growing hops on are farm and possibly grapes. We will be trying to get other farmers to grow other grains and hops as well as they are in demand and are currently in short supply. We in-vision a new industry that compliments the area that is made up mostly of dairy farms. This would open up new opportunities for young farmers who are trying to find a way into farming. We only have to look at what the industry has done for Wolfville to see what happens when people work together to make things happen. They have a thriving agritourism industry and Milford could as well. Milford is a unique hamlet that we love as is . We feel this would add to its charm while preserving its farming history. If you received a voters card or have questions , please message me and I will anwser your question. Thanks
