Has anyone else tried Brooklyn Brewery's Sorachi Ace? I picked one up a while back in New Hampshire as I had head so many bad things about the Sorachi Ace hop, and had to try a beer made by a decent sized brewery.
I finally got to try it on Sat night and I found it to be delicious! 5/7 people who also got to try it agreed that it was great.
I've read so many horrible things about the hop that I was really very surprised at how enjoyable it was. I know just about anyone in this group that has used them hated them. What styles of beer were you making with them?

Re: Brooklyn's Sorachi Ace
It's been a while since I had it, but I found Brooklyn's to be too "lemon pledge" in aroma. But my memory could definitely be tainted by my reading of other folks' reports.

I made a pure sorachi iipa. Just didn't work.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.
