Kid Friendly Places to Eat/Drink
Going to be in they city over the weekend as my wife is running the Bluenose. Looking for suggestions for places that have good beer and good food and that welcome little ones since we'll have the little man with us.

I should also add that we'll be staying at Cambridge Suites, so downtown places are preferred.

I've always seen lots of kids at the H&T, although the beer might not be straightened out yet.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

I know I just responded to this ... just not sure where it landed ... H&T doesn't have a kids menu, but will modify a couple of their dishes to appease younger appetites. Freeman's Little New York has a kids menu and Propeller on tap. When our son was younger, he spent 2 nights a week at the Alehouse (waitresses knew both his name and order), but they dropped their kids menu a couple years back. Food is OK for pub food.

Not sure if I'll get the chance. It's going to be a relatively quick trip I think. I'll probably end up getting mine done in Moncton.Jimmy wrote:Going to pick a hat up while you're in town?

H&T used to have a kids menu. Even had crayons and a picture to colour.LeafMan66_67 wrote:I know I just responded to this ... just not sure where it landed ... H&T doesn't have a kids menu, but will modify a couple of their dishes to appease younger appetites.

Don't make the same mistake I did: Uncle Tickle's Puzzle Emporium does not have a good beer list.
