Fresh/Wet/Harvest Ales?

Post by Jayme » Mon Sep 10, 2012 1:16 pm

Anyone have the inside scoop on who's doing what this year and release dates?

I was at Propeller on Saturday and asked - the response I got was no Alpha Dog this year because the employee who grew the hops last year no longer works there. I was under the impression the hops came from Randy @ Sea Level the last two years and that was part of the whole collaboration. Perhaps my info was wrong or the guy was full of shit!

That said, will Sea Level be doing something on their own?

Garrison still doing the 3 fields (from more than 3 fields )?

Just looked on Garrison's facebook page and the hops were harvested from 4 different fields on Sept 5.

Nash has got a couple on the go. Sea level used fresh hops in their heather beer.

In the heather beer? huh. Seems like a waste almost lol. Have you tried it? I also see he's got a 'Hoptoberfest' beer listed on the website but I don't recall seeing that ever before. I wonder if that's on the way?

What has Nash got going all? One at RB and one at H&T?

I was down yesterday for supper yesterday. Didn't see much else advertised.

I believe that's what Nash is doing.
