I take it that this is only valid with food and not Nash beer?

As far as I know it's only valid on food. I thought the laws restricted it from being valid on liquor?

You mean food, right?

I read that as, "I take it that this is only valid with good beer, and not Nash's"

Limit 1 per person, may buy 1 additional as gift. Limit 1 per table. Valid only for option purchased. Dine-in only. Must purchase 1 food item.
See the rules that apply to all deals.
I take that to mean you can use it on whatever you like, as long as 1 food item is included. If this is the case, then this seems like an even better deal!

I bought the $40 groupon before the website corrected that it has to be a party of 4. I wanted to change this to the $20 version. Groupon wont answer my emails and I wanna redeem this tomorrow at rockbottom.

Any ideas?

I'd tell them to go fuck themselves. Becky's got hers printed off and it doesn't say anything about a party of 4.

I managed to buy two of the $40 ones, it says limit of one only, but it let me buy 2 for some reason...and I never saw anything about the table of 4 thing, and I just read mine and it doesn't say anything about it. So when I try to use it, too bad for them. Nothing on it states that that is a condition.

Once my wife found out about the "party of 4" thing, she got a refund from Groupon.

I was able to get a credit, then bought 2 of the $20 versions. I do think it said on the website that it can go towards beer, but you must buy food as well - so if two people are buying meals... that means no beer. BUT I don't think there is a stipulation stating that. My plan is to get an app to split and each have a beer. Should work out to nearly $20 I figure!

And no shit given that you weren't a part of 4? Damn... shouldn't have exchanged my coupons for the $20 version!

My understanding is that nothing in the laws restrict them from including beer so long as the discount wouldn't bring it below the $2.50 per unit of alcohol threshold. I reckon most bars exclude liquor from their deals because that's where they make their money: the food is a loss leader.
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.
