Does premier have it, or just at the brewery?

I believe it's just the brewery right now. Eventually at the private stores and they're hoping for NSLC according to their FB page.

The Comet IPA made an intro at the Toronto Cask festival months ago. My cousin was there and said it was good and the maratimes was well represented. He was saying it was the Imperial IPA cask conditioned with something a little different but I can't remember what he said. Sounds good & I'm not sure what their bottled stuff will be like.

It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? Tried this brew last night, turned out really well. The only thing I would want is a little more aroma but this is a great way to see what comet hops are all about.

Hi,
I went to Garrison today to pick a six pack, they said they had all kinds of it and would probably be around for a while.I tried it and enjoyed it.

I tried it on cask at the beer fest this summer and find it to be a totally different beer now... Gavin & I both found there to be very little of the dank/citrus character that comet is supposed to provide, and it also tasted like there was some of their Raspberry Wheat mixed in... It was very odd indeed. Two other people have been over and tried some from the same 6-pack and agreed with this assessment. Yet others (you guys here) and a couple others I've talked to who bought some didn't notice any of what i just mentioned. Mysterious.

I had another bottle last night and it tasted kind of sweet to me. I'm not a big fan of it I guess.

Sent from the brew timer.

What was on Cask wasn't the same beer from my understanding. The cask was their ImPA dry hopped with comet.

Huh I was told differently I guess (makes more sense that it was the IIPA though), but even still I would have thought at least SOME of that same hop character to come through.

I liked it quite a bit. I thought it had a pretty similar tasting grain bill to their Hop Yard, just knocked up a notch. (Or at least it still had the characteristic background cotton candy sweetness that I find in Hop Yard.) It has a nice bitter bite. I would recommend as a nice alternative IPA to the standard offerings available at the NSLC.

That is what I felt (tasted) about it too.
