Thanks! Next week should be a better schedule for me and should be able to get there Thursday between 3 and 4pm. Hopefully I'll get some then!chalmers wrote:Crap, you've been unlucky, Leafsman. The store *should* be open W-F of next week, and I'll be dropping by at least once for more beer for the PEI guys. Lemme know, and I can grab you some too. My schedule is a bit more forgiving (Hey, I could even deliver to Cornwallis).
The same offer goes for other folks unable to get there mid-afternoon. Probably Wed, definitely Thurs.

Re: Bridge Brewing
I got to try both on the weekend. I can't say I was blown away, but they were both drinkable. My overall impression (based on some of the things said here and drinking the beer itself) is that they have a lot to learn yet - both on the brewing and business side. Hopefully they sort out all the kinks before it's too late. Lots of potential! I'll try the beer again in a few months (hopefully), but if the quality/availability doesn't improve, I won't be a regular.

Of the 2 I liked the Farmhouse the best, I'll get a jug filled up whenever I'm inthe area.

So, Bridge will be open Wed and Fri (NOT Thurs) from 3 until they sell out. I'm definitely heading there right at 3 Wed, anyone have requests?

Re: Bridge Brewing
If you're going to be there anyway I'd take a growler of the Farmhouse. Definitely don't make a special trip though. Let me know the total and I'll either get cash to Andy or shoot you an EMT.chalmers wrote:So, Bridge will be open Wed and Fri (NOT Thurs) from 3 until they sell out. I'm going on the assumption that's one of the farmhouse. Please text me before 2 if you want to change that.Graham.C wrote:I'll take one too if it's no trouble.jeffsmith wrote:If you're going to be there anyway I'd take a growler of the Farmhouse. Does anybody on twitter ever say anything even remotely critical?

Re: Bridge Brewing
Yo dickbags. Any new brewery that makes a go of it on the East Coast is definitely a major step in the right direction. Let's give these guys the benefit of the doubt and support them in however we can. We should be calling down the big guys, not our neighbors.

Re: Bridge Brewing
If I have an honest opinion that the beers could be better, or outright suck, then I don't give a fuck who it is, if I want to say, it'll be said. Local doesn't mean shit to me if the quality isn't there. As it is, I haven't tried the beer, but reading reviews of people who's opinion I trust here, twitter looks like a giant circle jerk. That was my point.

Re: Bridge Brewing
Agreed. My comments weren't directed at anyone in particular, but I think we should buy the beer and support the guys until they can figure things out. Most people will be buying the beer only because it is local, and that is still a good thing.mr x wrote:twitter looks like a giant circle jerk. That was my point.

I do agree they are not growlers but I want them still up and running this time next year.
The bottles are very nice.
