I've got a meeting from 2-3... but my arm could be twisted to head down afterward

When responding to this thread, does it light up the new post box on the forum homepage?

Not on the homepage, but on the sub-forum pages (Geneal Homebrew Discussion, General Beer Discussion, etc).

I'm taking my girlfriend to the H&T tonight before she skips town, and I want to try something different for food. Does anyone have a favourite dish there that they'd like to tell me/anyone reading about?

Second question: I see there are only a couple of vegetarian/vegan options on the menu, which is typical of 99.999% of restaurants. Does anyone have a favourite (or a secret dish) from that category?

Thanks in advance.

I quite like the blue cheese lamb burger & the prusciutto (sp?) wrapped scallops - definitely not a vegetarian/vegan option though.

Thanks for the suggestion, I was eyeing that the last time, maybe I'll get it this time. I'm pretty sure she's destined to get the dips to share as a starter, and the veggie burger with no cheese. Nash will probably sneer and say something about a secret stash of bacon.

I just came back from an office lunch there, introduced some of the guys to the H&T. tried a pint of the Hop Storm for the first time and wow, excellent beer. I don't think I'm a fan of DIPAs or TIPAs untill I'm drinking one, then I love it. Great job Nash! Looking forward to the next keg of hoppy joy. (disclaimer: after a couple of pints of it I may be biased and under the influence, oh well, it'll make work better this afternoon).

I changed the topic title to the full name so new members knew what H&T meant, also to help with google searches.

It's Hoppy Tuesday again at the H&T, 5:00pm til close. For those that aren't familiar, it's discount night every week on H&T beers only, with some good munchie specials to pair with the beers which btw are in the midst of a big overhaul.

Tonight I'm tapping a keg of aged Doppelganger fortified imperial smoked porter! Should be tasty. For those of you that haven't heard already, my labour intensive batch of all Cascade DIPA won't be hitting the taps because I've put it down the drain! I'll have another hop-bomb on tap as soon as I can, meanwhile you can read more about it on my blog here: http://hartandthistle.blogspot.com/2011 ... esday.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
