You don't consume that batch, it consumes you...

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

I'm enjoying my last glass of this right now. That is until I get a refill. Fucking great beer indeed!

Best of luck with your brewery Nash. Monumental achievement. Glad it’s going well.
Just popped in to say that. Everyone was really tired of the nonsense.

Stick around Mark - your comments and insights and questions on conventional brewing are definitely missed on the forum - or at least I miss them.GuingesRock wrote:Best of luck with your brewery Nash. Monumental achievement. Glad it’s going well.

I couldn't agree more. Welcome back G-Rock and hope you are here to stay. The forum hasn't been the same since you left. Let's forget the BS and focus on what we all have in common "Great Beer". I hear you are tearing it up with around 50+ awards and still register as a Brewnoser. I think that's for a reason. Once a Brewnoser always a Brewnoser.

Thanks a lot people but don’t get carried away
I will stay in touch.
Thanks also to the people who have supported me with comments on my competition work while I was away (I did notice). I say work because it is work.
And yes, once a Brewnoser ...
I keep the Brewnoser status at the competitions because I learnt a lot on here, chewing things over with all the knowledgeable people on here. Wouldn't be half the brewer without having had that experience.
Happy Brewnosing all!

Found a bottle of Working Man stashed in the basement. It was an extra from the X-mass exchange. It held up very well and as a style I am fond of I drank it all my self, I shared with no one. Then 2 days later Mark posts. WOW.

Re: Unfiltered Brewing Inc.
The beer I brewed today dwarfs DOA when it comes to how many hops were put into the wort. Fresh Centennial hops to the tune of ~ 270 kg. Made for a long brew day. That's right, it's not a typo, 270 kg!! The brewery still smells like hop oil..... as does AndyBrewnoser wrote:System isn't built to handle hops? Then wtf us in this DOA I am drinking?

Re: Unfiltered Brewing Inc.
No I used the tun as a hopback. Actually sparged the hops afterward to recover some otherwise lost wort, worked a treat! Ha ha ha!!Brewnoser wrote:Second runnings beer from the leftovers?

Fuck, I hope the DOA lasts a couple more days. Forgot to buy LiverDance a growler before I hit the road, and am back Thursday PM.
Think my chances are OK, or will I need to send in a mule to pick me up a bottle?
