Had a lunch meeting there yesterday and had a taste. Not as sour as I expected. I could drink a whole one and that is saying a lot for me, I don't often care four the sours.

Greg wasn’t even there today, Amanda said he’s in Toronto. I took some "Amarillo Galaxy" real ale for him to evaluate for me, so I ended up giving it to our Lebanese hairdresser later in the afternoon. He promptly poured himself a big glass, said it was “A1” and then got extremely merry on it. Haircuts ended up ok.

The beer in the cask today is London Porter.

Had my first Rickbottom experience on Sat night and enjoyed it in every way. Great music, great food and amazing brews. Really liked the Rookie and the IPA and I am not normally a hop head. Great job. Keep up the good work Nash and the rest of the team.

Had my first Rock Bottom experience with my Daughter after Dora. Potachos were great and the Fathom was a really refreshing IPA, wanted to grab a growler but NS Laws prevented it this time.

She looks very cute Keith. Looks like you had a nice pub lunch together. My little boy has chicken fingers and fries when he goes with us. They have some that you can get in a wrap.

She looks very cute Keith. Looks like you had a nice pub lunch together. My little boy has chicken fingers and fries or carrot sticks when he goes with us. They have some good chicken fingers that they usually put in wrap. Amanda usually sorts something out with him so he's happy also.

Was back after the Parade of Lights to have some more of the sour, and I really dig it.
Are Lactobacillus typically stocked locally? I've been reading and researching, and it seems like it's in the realm of possibility for me to attempt this... maybe.

Your best bet it to check out http://premierwines.ca/store/category/2 ... Sour-Wild/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; on dresden row. It is completely in the realm of possibility to do it on a homebrew scale.blacktip wrote:Was back after the Parade of Lights to have some more of the sour, and I really dig it.

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Re: Official Rockbottom Brewpub Thread
Blacktip, did you mean lacto to inoculate a batch of beer, or lacto beers?
I'm pretty sure Noble Grape does not carry it, Everwood Ave has/had a blend with lacto in it.

Re: Official Rockbottom Brewpub Thread
I heard today that lunch times are being phased out, at least for a couple of months, and Amanda may not still be there. That’s so depressing on both counts. Amanda has been there for 5 years and she is amazing, and so were the lunch times.
