Beau's Has Landed in NS
Well in HRM anyway. 600ml bottles of Lug Tread at various NSLC stores. Bottled Sept 12/16 so pretty darn fresh considering to source.

Re: Beau's Has Landed in NS
They told me they were now in every province in Canada. Quebec was the biggest challenge. I think they had to set up a distribution point there with warehouse or something like that. I wasn't sure about Lug Tread but I only had a sip or two. You need a proper pint to try a beer I think. It would be interesting to hear what people think of the Lug Tread. It's their flagship beer. The brewer there who designed it actually worked at Paddy's in Wolfville for a bit. He's friends with Nash and also many other local brewers. Small world.

I've always found Beau's to be about 13/10 on marketing and 7.5/10 on deliciousness. That's not a slight: Whoever does their packaging design is stellar and deserves serious credit. I just tend to think they aren't a really stand out brewery (at least for the price). That said, I've only tried their flagships, not their one offs.

I really enjoyed the Lug Tread lagered Ale while it lasted here on the south shore. I believe it's now "delisted" - meaning gone.
