Beer Confessions
I think we're all guilty of blasphemy now and again. I've been meaning to confess this for awhile. I bought a case of Coors and I got this hat and I wore it for a week while I was on vacation this summer. Phew, I feel better.

Ok. My turn, I guess. I don't hate Blue Moon. I mean, I don't love it, but I don't hate it either.
It's a moderately okay wit that you can buy in a 12-pack.
A hat stays with you, though

Re: Beer Confessions
Might just as well drink Coors. I can't find anything in the NSLC I can drink, so I've been buying wine lately. That's my confession.
I could make the trip down to Bad Apple I suppose, or make my own again ....some time.

I've caught myself drinking a bud on a hot summers day. Mind you I was at a friend's and was thirsty. Begged can't be choosers lol.

Re: Beer Confessions
My guilty pleasure beer is innis and gunn original. I know it's overly sweet and basically just pure oak flavor but I can't help having a tallboy of it now and again.
Also I guess it's equally as sad that I've never even tried the vast majority of macro beer - I "learned" to drink at a university pub that was garrison exclusive.

Re: Beer Confessions
I buy bottles of Olands when I go out in Sydney because micros are $8 a pint, and this place is too poor to justify that. The choice is part act of principal and part economic necessity.
The confession part is that I enjoy them. (In fact, as a session beer, I might choose them a lot of the time even if they weren't so much cheaper.)

Re: Beer Confessions
I bought a king can of Fosters a few months ago and it came with a plastic handle... not sure why I did that, I knew I was going to pour it into a glass anyway.
It looked exactly like this one.. except it was blue.

Re: Beer Confessions
OK, here goes... I bought a 6-pack of Keith's White IPA (because it's not sold in singles, and I need some bottles). It didn't entirely suck. I wanted it to.
Does the logo on that hat change colour when it gets cold??

Brewnosers only has three rules members must follow, as I recall from a decade or so ago. #3 is when nothing good is available you're only allowed to drink Labatt Blue.KB1138 wrote:Olands is my go to when nothing else is available

Re: Beer Confessions
Haven't drunk one of those for 30 years when I was being a cowboy with my boots and hat dancing in the street to a good ol' country music band in rural Manitoba. Fresh from England, joining in you know, and having a great time.KMcK wrote:Brewsnosers only has three rules members must follow, as I recall from a decade or so ago. #3 is when nothing good is available you're only allowed to drink Labatt Blue.KB1138 wrote:Olands is my go to when nothing else is available
