Brassneck, Four Winds, Dageraad...oh my!!!
Huge thanks to CPR and the gang at Stillwell, being a former Vancouverite these are literally three of my favourite breweries, you might notice my profile pic is the front of Brassneck itself haha
Care to drop any hints CPR on the tap/bottle list? Massive massive thanks again!

Visited For Winds last summer and the beers kicked ass. Sounds like a good line up.

I'm jealous of that tap list and as of yesterday I live in BC... trying to find a bottle shop in the okanagan that carries four winds and dageraad

Solid line up! I've tried most of these, all top notch. Four winds is fantastic all around and Dagaraad does belgians like nobody's business.

When I tried the raspberry Changeling a couple of years ago I thought it was very similar to Silver Tart. Which of course is delicious.
We were in Vancouver last month and couldn't find Nectarous, nor was Brassneck pouring Changeling.

Bummer Chris! TBH I'm surprised this is the first event we've postponed—most are nail-biters with shipping companies (etc.) for us. Consolation: there will be more great events !

Ya I couldn't recall any events at Stillwell being postponed, I'm relieved that I still won't miss it!
Were the kegs just not going to make it in time? Or was it a provincial liquor law thing?

Re: BC beer taking over Stillwell March 25th!!!!!!
When I was out west in the fall all the wineries used nothing but ATS for shipping. A medical supply company with temperature controlled units & apparently fast. Not sure if you've looked in to them before or not, but thought I'd mention them. I was looking to send a few cases of wine home & the major shippers were ridiculous.CPR wrote:Bummer Chris! Re: BC beer taking over Stillwell March 25th!!!!!!
I'll have to check them out the next time I'm over westside. So far I've had luck at public liquor by the airport - I think they carry all three breweries from this event so I'll have to pick up some and drink along from the other side of the countryCPR wrote:Visit our pal Wade at Cask & Barrel in West Kelowna -- they have a great selection!

So far I've tried two of the beers on this tap list (juxtapose and nectarous) and I can't recommend them enough! Looking forward to trying dageraad as well.

No problem, shit happens, and I'll console myself to being on my way back to NorCal that day instead.CPR wrote:Bummer Chris! TBH I'm surprised this is the first event we've postponed—most are nail-biters with shipping companies (etc.) for us. Consolation: there will be more great events !

Been pretty good run of these events, I think maybe one of them has been changed previously, maybe a Mikkeller or earlier one, but still, that's a solid record!
