Ol' Biddy's Brew House

First off. Thanks to everyone over the years that has offered some assistance when I was getting started and challenged me over the years to improve the quality of my beers. Truly appreciate it and the beer shows for it.
As some of you likely heard through Facebook or Twitter that I've decided to take a leap of faith and move from a hobby brewery to a "professional" brewery. I think. Is that right? Sounds weird.
Needless to say after building the space and brewing a few batches. One night we decided to see if it was possible and decided to take a leap of faith and follow our dreams. The brand is Ol' Biddy's Brew House and the Nano is located in the basement of our home in Lower Sackville.
Right now we are in the final stages and just have a bit more paperwork to get through with the NSLC.
Hoping to have beer ready for sale by Mid November if not sooner. There will likely be a small launch with 5 or 6 offerings somewhere in HRM; so stay tuned.
I have 28 recipes presently. Most dialed in from years of brewing. Initial offerings will be the Funktown APA, Even Gooder Coffee Brown, and the Disco Inferno Red IPA I created with Mike. Still working through a few hurdles but should expect to see beer on a few accounts in HRM.
I know I've not been as active as I one was, however between the construction to get my indoor brewery a go, then the decision to test fate, here I am. Apologize about my absence, but am hoping to make it out to events once again in the near future.
I've briefly chatted with Chris, one thing I'd like to do as a thank you for the club is when there are events is to have someone in to brew their recipe for release at some beer events. I don't know the details on it yet, however I'm sure it will work out. My 1 bbl setup is perfect for this unlike other larger breweries. Possibly we can start up the comp again and let the BOS brew their release? Something we can hash out at a later date. Cheers!
Anyways. Still lots to get done, but been far to excited about this venture to keep it quite. I was originally planning to announce the day I was fully operational, but for me to keep it 6 months under wraps has been something else.
Happy Brewing and thanks again everyone!
