I'm drinking an Oud Beersel kriek. I have a Flanders red in need of reinforcements, so I got it for the dregs. Bonus, they came with a beer on top!

Re: What's everyone drinking?
Drinking a Kloster-sud that I picked up at Bishop's. Lovely. I'm no good at describing flavours or aromas, but there's an interesting malt presence. I think it's the same as (or at least very similar to) Rogue Roost's IPA. Can someone tell me what malt is creating that?

Re: What's everyone drinking?
A session mixer pack from Belgh Brasse in Quebec...wheat, pale, blonde lager along with the Trappist duppel- no facking quad available ...all decent drops from la belle province. Also my buddy's Chill St. (Sort of) Ontario German brewmaster brewed, fermented, kegged and tapped here in NS. Pilsner...good stuff and so missable when laziness hits, as I usually pick up a corny keg for around $40!

Re: What's everyone drinking?
Back to the Belgh Brass mixer...nice...but...someone tell me about Uncle Leo...second can after trying their IPA and I decided to try a go...Kolsch...fvcking terrible as an intro...no head...flattish with shitty carbonation...at $4/can??? I made way better home brew and really am losing faith on those people...two strikes!

Re: What's everyone drinking?
Rupture by O'dell brewing in fort collins Co. Toured the brewery today. Saw the world's largest hopback. Essentally an 8" pipe connected to the whirlpool. Kicking myself for not taking a pic but I'd had a few. Got the sign though.

Re: What's everyone drinking?
Uncle Leo's...I'm still bitching...latest was Kolsch...always interested but needs redemption and hopefully not indicative of style...I will drop by brewery in future to suck the teat...always better lol. But...not impressed with the two NSLC cans thus far...
Drinking Firkenstein Cut Of Our Jib DIPA... right up there kids - unless I'm lacking something - like some stoopid beer aficionado enzyme or sumtin...not likely lol!

Spent the weekend at Firehouse Ironworks, having our fill of Flat Black Jesus and Riddle of Steel. Alex managed to bang out a few bottle openers while honing his blacksmith skills.

Re: What's everyone drinking?
Just a heads up. I just bought 40 off kijiji for $15. They're also readily available at bottle depots for about $6 - $8 / dozen. So ..... don't feel like your only option to get the bottles is to drink em.NorEasterBrewer wrote:Unfortunately I am struggling with drinking Groslch as much as I can for the bottles.
