Had my first one of those over the Xmas break. Without going back to my notes, I liked it, but I think I found it still a bit strong / boozy for what it was. Def. a sipper.

They did a Can You Brew It episode of little sumpin on the brewing network, check that out if you want to make some.
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? I'm taking on a trio of clearance beer! Spitfire Kentish Ale, Greene King IPA and Twisted Thistle IPA... They're pretty decent, especially as they're pretty cheap.

From todays trip to the beer store
beer.jpg
Left to right: Cassis Lambic, Stone "Arrogant Bastard", Stone IPA, DFH "Chicory Stout", DFH "Palo Santo Marron", DFH "60 Minute IPA", Stone "Levitation", The Alchemist/Ninkasi/Stone Callaboration "More Brown Than Black IPA", Bruery/Elysian/Stone Collaboration "La Citrueille Celeste de Citracado", DFH "Burton Baton", Bells "Two Hearted Ale", Big Sky "Moose Drool"

I'd like to get more but don't know what I am allowed to bring back. Chris, I'm guessing you have the most experience with bringing beer across the border. Do you know the limits for beer transportation from US to Can?

Nice haul. I think its 24 beers you're allowed after 48 hours. Some people say they will take into account the size of the bottle and abv but I haven't had any trouble the few times I've done it.

I just poured a pint of my Arrogant Bastard clone. yum
