As with most beer the growler/pint at the brewery is much better. Looking forward to the Brown.

Awesome day today! I took my son to the first St. John's Brewfest organized by the NL Artisanal & Craft Beer Club today in St. John's, Newfoundland. We tried many new to here beer. I finally got the opportunity to try a Garrison OL' FOG BURNER. It was nice. I tasted a Lambic and a sour for the first time. A wonderful STRAFE KENDRICK TRIPEL 9% ABV (pictured below) One of my favourites was from Big Spruce -Tim's Dirty American IPA brewed in honour of Brewnoser Tim Gregory, who won the Big Spruce inaugural Homebrew Challenge in December of 2013. My favourite beer was a one off special for the show Muskoka Brewery Cool As A Cuke American Pale Ale.

Last year's Cerberus was better, IMO.

I'm drinking my own kolsch and helles. I'm got some issues to work out, but they're going down easy. Which is good - it's pretty fricking warm here in Kouchibouguac.

I just started drinking my own kolsch as well. Not as clear as I would've liked (I went with a multiple week cold crash/lager step and didn't use gelatin like I normally do because I figured it would drop clearer in the ferm fridge - but I still have chill haze) but way too crushable in the summer heat/humidity... I drank far more of it than I normally allow myself on a weeknight last night and am feeling it a bit this morning...
