Kreezer malfunction

The last time I pulled an empty keg from my Keezer the probe for the temperature control must have slipped out. Went to pour a pint last night and everything was frozen solid. Luckily, no kegs ruptured. Just have to wait a few days for things to thaw. At least I can tell how much is left in each keg. I'll have to use better tape on the probe this time.

Do you put the probe inside of a water bottle at the bottom of your keezer? I find the probe stays in very well, but it also prevents the compressor from coming on when the lid is open for a bit.

No I don't. That's a good idea though. I'll give it a try.

I use a twist tie to secure it to the basket that came with it.

Good idea, but with 4 kegs there's just no room for baskets.
