Nice. I like the bit where people should head to RB or H&T and look for the table of good looking people. Classic.

I didn't want to say, "Check for the loud fat dudes with beards who keep yelling at the waitress that their beer cheese soup sucks now*", I didn't want to scare anyone away.
*Jimmy and BBB and I had the beer cheese soup on the weekend, it was excellent. I think they are approaching its previous glory, before all of the screwing around.

Yeah Jeff and I were in just after the grain pickup brunch and Greg grabbed us a taste. I don't know what it was like before but it was tasty then.

I don't agree with that comment, and I don't see what it has to do with longevity. In fact, I'd say it was counter productive. One of the reasons the group has been around so long is our lack of formal structure, rules, or fees.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

Well, fees certainly discourage some people, and the big problem with most similar groups I've been a member of is that the formal structure requires elections. Sooner or later, the small group that keep rotating the positions of President, Secretary and Treasurer - and do all the work - get tired of doing it, and then the group falls apart.mr x wrote:I don't agree with that comment, and I don't see what it has to do with longevity. Clearly our lack of structure isn't being counterproductive right now, though it could be later.
