Has anyone tried this beer yet? I seen it at the NSLC in Tantallon. It comes in 12 packs...

I wasn't very impressed with it, then again I am really picky about lagers, and tend to avoid them. Also, to be fair I was a little tipsy from a Baltic porter when I tried it.

Re: Pumphouse Premium Lager
I found it to be too sweet, very heavy on the crystal malts.

Re: Pumphouse Premium Lager
It was really good when they 1st put it on as a draft only - tasted very German. But I find the bottled product is not very lager-like. It is fruity, lacks bitterness or hop flavour/aroma, and I find the DMS too high. I had high hopes for this beer, but...
I hear they plan to put out a real Pils in future. Also, they plan to bottle their seasonals, so I'm looking forward to the Weiss.

I drink to make others more interesting
