Re: Hop City
Never had their beer, but at least they're not a 'Subsidiary of AB-InBev' or any of the other mega-brew companies.

Re: Hop City
I was drinking a lot of the Barking Squirrel up in Ontario. http://www.hopcity.com/barking-squirrel/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It was easily the best beer for the price available to me at the time, certainly enjoyable.
Actually, I think the better half finished off the last can we had two nights ago.
I would be happy to buy it here if it is priced similarly to mega-brews (which it was in Ontario).

I wasn't a huge fan. Nothing wrong with the beer, it just didn't live up to expectations. If you are going to name your brewery hop-city, I expect hop bombs.

I've got a can of the lager home in my fridge. I've been planning to bring it to a meeting.

I had a bottle of the Barking Squirrel last not too long ago and didn't care for it whatsoever. A buddy bought a 6 pack of it and all three of us didn't like it.

Re: Hop City
Mel's Diner in Sackville is carrying Hop City Barking Squirrel (bottle). Didn't want to try it when the bottle said it was brewed in Brampton and SJ. I was worried Moosehead was trying to pull a fast one on me.
