i guess the guys replaced the arduino with raspberry pi.
anyone interested in a raspberry pi group buy?

I've been keeping an eye on this, has a very impressive interface.
Unfortunately your going to need Audrino + RaspberryPi + Their Shield (or DIY it). One of the big limitations of the RaspberryPi is physical I/O so most things I've seen use something like the audrino for this task. Seems a bit much when an Audrino could handle most of these tasks on their own (but I supposed the RaspberryPi's are so cheap it doesn't matter much)

true. im guessing the raspberry pi is purely for extensibility as you can run more software onto it than a typical arduino.

has anyone used a cheaper solution for controlling their beer temp using a cold room + heat belt + STC-1000 temp controller?
