Do you have room in your suitcase for an extra?

That's actually listed as coming soon on the NSLC price list.

I saw it in the December list, you are right. http://www.mynslc.com/Documents/Trademy ... 202010.pdf
It has been removed from the most recent list. http://www.mynslc.com/Documents/Trademy ... 202011.pdf
Not sure if that is a common occurrence, your post is what prompted me to find the NSLC price list.

FYI. A little birdie at the NSLC told me that they tried to get it here for this past X-mas, but couldn't get in time. Since there was limited quantities, they aren't able to get any more until next year. They are certainly planning on getting it for X-mas 2011.

That sounds like they couldn't get it here in time for Christmas, so they cancelled the order. If they had it ordered, why would limited quantities matter? If it was never ordered, how would it get on the price list? Of course, all of these questions assume logical reasoning on their part.

It was definitely still on the list for February too. Hadn't looked at March yet.

I didn't have much of a chance to chat with the birdie today, so I didn't get too deep into it. My *best guess* is that they think it will only sell leading up to Christmas when people are feeling generous and are willing to pay for expensive beers to use as gifts, and/or take to Christmas parties.

What is the deal in NS regarding the NSLC and/or the few smaller places (like Premier) ordering in different beers? Can Premier just call up a small microbrew in the US and have them ship up a bunch of cases direct?

Good to know... two showed up at a PEI LCC store last week (prob. the only two on the Island). I had one in my hand, but I just couldn't bring myself to pay $19.95 for pretty much just a cool bottle.
