Drinking one now. Not very impressed. It's about as dark as Newcastle and has a deep malty flavour. Other than that, I'm not very impressed. 10% alcohol though so maybe after a few it will taste better..lol. Hey, and nice meeting all you guys at the grain pickup yesterday. Merry Christmas,

Lol. No. Close your eyes and think strong Schwartzbier and then it's not half bad.

Not sure how well it matches the Doppelbock style sheet, but I enjoyed it on tap. I thought it was quite tasty.
