Was not nearly the turnout I expected. I did not have my name drawn but the person they called wasnt there either, I was drawn second.... Woo hoo, finally got a bottle!

They did say they had alot more names entered in the draw than actually showed. I had one guy there "offer" to sell me the bottle if he won for a "substantial" markup. Told me he was planning on drain pouring it and selling the empty bottle on Ebay. I am going to guess he didn't really research that too well as they are going for less than purchase... Really glad he didn't get it

Glad you were successful in the purchase! I was expecting to hear from my local store that mine was available, but nothing yet. Also, I did get the dreaded phone call/email saying my order didn't go through, but I believe my first one failed and second was good. Who the hell knows, this is all a big mixup.

I just received an email from NSLC that they have secured an additional 4 bottles of Utopias in the Bayers Lake store Jan 15th 2014 if anyone still wants one.

This year's release is in PEI, too.

Well, you would get to bring up in every conversation from now on that you drank a bottle of Utopias. If being insufferable is important to you them it might be worth it

I bought it @ $140, but $200 is quite the jump for me, so not going to bother. Also, I bought the bottle, but haven't drunk it yet. Haven't quite found the right opportunity. I think I have one lined up in Feb to at least put a bit of a hurt on it.

If anyone in HRM is keen on getting one, and doesn't like to idea of playing "wait and see" at the NSLC on the 19th, EMAIL/text me ASAP, and I'll buy it @ PEILCC for you. I'm on the island for 3 more hours...

I suppose now that I've announced that, I may have become insufferable, or enabling others...

No word of a lie, I still have the original bottle I mentioned above. Unopened. Haven’t found the perfect time for it, not sure there ever is? I’m dumb.

I paid $20 for a Westie 12, would have paid $50. I’m sure there are people out there that think that’s crazy too.
