Re: Official Stillwell Thread
I know we're all sworn to secrecy about our beers but does anyone know whether we're allowed to tell people which session we're in (afternoon or evening)?

Re: Official Stillwell Thread
Would prefer folks didn't reveal where their beers are prior to them being revealed; we don't want people casting votes for friends—ideally people are voting exclusively based on their impressions of the beers. That said, brewers were definitely telling people which beer was theirs last year, which, y'know, whaddyagonnado?
Here's a higher res of the poster; we won't be selling them this year 'cause we only sold like 4 of them last year! We might sell last year's though—we still have a bunch. Really nice hand-screened posters.

I'm trying to keep mine on the down-low, but feel telling folks I brewed a Session beer is kosher.

This is really what I was asking about. I have some friends and family who might try to make it down and they'd be much more interested in going to the session where my beer is up.chalmers wrote:I'm trying to keep mine on the down-low, but feel telling folks I brewed a Session beer is kosher.

Looks like the Stillwell beer garden is headed for Spring Garden Road. From a quick Google maps search the address looks like the burned out space between then Eastlink store and the Mustache.

Re: Official Stillwell Thread
I guess the NIMBYs @ the oval got their wish.
Yes, I think it is a good idea to provide positive feedback. Hopefully the SW crew gets ahead of the unfounded fear that folks had that it would be loud music and drunken fights from 10am-2am daily, and there would be 400 people there...

I think this location is a better fit based on amount of foot traffic that could stop in. They won't get the same resistance either.

Sad it won't be as easy to have an after softball game beer... Also can't imagine the sunlight will be great on spring garden wedged between two buildings - but on uber hot days, that's not a bad thing. Good spot for entertaining people watching too.

You need to get on Twitter Mitch
Brathair's DIPA took first place.
Jason MacDougall came second (that guy is _everywhere_).

Awesome day with some awesome brews. I also think while he didn't win, Peter's Imperial saison is worth some applause. Good work petlion. Many of us thought you had it on lock.

Totally. I also really enjoyed Rubbertoe's Strong Dark (which got my highest score). Peter and Rob deserve credit for challenging voters with styles that are favorites of theirs but that aren't as popular in the market.sheanhiggins wrote: also think while he didn't win, Peter's Imperial saison is worth some applause.

Congrats to winners, I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it out to try them. Boo. I did have Rubbertoe's though, and that was an excellent beer.
