Hilarious, the guy who thinks this is beer is exceptional is also the guy who thought Nash's original Hop Mess Monster was an abomination...

Ah yes, look at the bottom of the label:
This authentic pale ale stays true to the principles of Alexander Keith’s legacy, using only the finest ingredients and brewed taking the time to ensure the brew is just right.
This ale is brewed with traditional two-row malt for a full, nutty flavor with a burst of spicy and citrusy hop notes. This brew is a deep golden color with a balanced bitterness.
Interesting. Maybe they have decided not to try their 'IPA' down there at all...

Geez, Kyle, I really hate to say it (especially here), but that's a clue that you might be drinking too much.

Sources tell me that the beer will be a Pilsner, made from Keith's "IPA" "grain" bill, and then fermented with Budweiser yeast. I expect it'll taste very similar to Hop Mess 2.0 .

LOL. Keith's don't have enough hops on hand at any time to make a single batch of Messie.

Next thing you know they'll be convincing people that in addition to inventing IPA, Keith was also the mayor of St. Louis and while there he invented Brown Ale and built the Arch.
Nash has told me a couple times that they tried to sell the IPA in the US and were turned down. Too many Americans already know what IPA is, and the ones that don't aren't giving up their Bud Light any time soon.

For a prediction, I still think we're long overdue for Keith's Light Lime.

Hope Oland wasn't planning any kind of special announcement:
Just as Rickard's Blond comes out too. So is Blonde the new White or the new Lime?

Would it be possible for these guys to be any more lame? Seriously.
What makes Rickard’s Blonde special is the unique blend of four hops that is used to infuse the liquid, lending the beer a refreshingly flavourful taste and clean, balanced finish. “Our new German-style pilsner boasts a pleasant floral aroma and lively hop character. It is indeed the one beer in our Rickard’s portfolio which includes the highest concentration of hops,” commented David Hamel, Master Brewer with Molson Coors.
I'd dearly love to know the IBUs. Maybe I should just ask....
Look out Nash, Molson could push the envelope.

I'll learn them with my new Blonde Hop Mess v3.0...
36 lbs per barrel hop rate utilizing 19 different hop varieties... 4000 IBUs.... and with my newly redesigned 500 L Randal coupled with my stunning new hopophobic-press and my re-engineered HOPLOGIC centri-frugal device, every person that touches this brew to their lips including ALL MOLSON DRINKERS will swear it was created by God himself. I've even considered renaming Messie to Hopgasm for this release but ultimately - I.can.not.let.Messie.go.

I'm so tired of these dumb ass press releases that are stiff as cardboard. You can take that same quote above for Rickard's Blonde to describe a lump of shit:
What makes Rickard’s Fudgeo special is the unique blend of four food groups that is used to infuse the turd, lending the feces a refreshingly flavourful odour and clean, balanced finish.

C'mon guys - Rickards said they were using 4 hops, take them at their word - 4 hop cones in every batch. They even show them in the graphic.
What a bunch of lame-ass fucktards!

WTF... In the same statement they said it is 2 completely different styles German Pilsner (BJCP 2A) and Blonde (BJCP 6B)

Not that I expect either of these companies to produce anything that I want to buy, but it seriously annoys the piss out of me when new products come out of the marketing department and not the production department.

What's really disgusting, is the comments like this on BA:
I'd never heard of this one, nor of a "Nova Scotia style", so was curious to imbibe.
If this is supposed to be the best of Nova Scotia, then color me disappointed.

LOL. That's the first thing I saw - why the hell(es) would you call a "German Pilsner" a "Blonde"?

Robert, you really _should_ have been at BSNBB. I could almost swear somebody said that last night

As expected, if the Rickard's truly has the "highest concentration of hops" of any Rickard's, they're doing it wrong. Bland, boring, nothing pilsener about it.
