Is it time to bump this one up to "Official" status and into the Announcements section? Seeing as there have been no posts to one of them in a year and a half...strangely around the same time a certain brewer left there? ;-)

Got into my first Riddle of Steel growler tonight (thanks for getting me in early yesterday). It's fantastic!

On the downside, I now have a homebrew inferiority complex...

Most of you probably already caught this but we launched a new DIPA on Friday, here's the deets...

RSMA DIPA
Mosaic SMaSH
7.5% ABV
100+ IBU
10 SRM

As with most of my SMaSH brews it's identical to Deity, DOA and AFU only swapping out the hops, to Mosaic this time.

The pub opens at 4 pm today for pints and growler fills. Happy Thanksgiving all :cheers2:

Thanks to Nash for hooking me up with a taste of this while in CB over the weekend. Smooth, hoppy deliciousness! Oh, and the DOA and FBJ was top notch as well!

Planning on a visit with the missus sometime next weekend, likely Saturday, to see what's on tap... can't wait! We're both huge hop fans, and I've visited before, so I know we will not be disappointed. Are there tours or anything like that?

We don't do tours as such but I'm always willing to show anyone around the brewery when I'm on site (and not busy working). Post back later next week or drop me a PM to see if I'll be around :cheers2:

at the risk of being a pain I'd love to talk to you about the business and gear at some point if you have the time. I'm hoping to change careers into brewing (and that plan is coupled with a general plan of moving to the other side of the country so you wouldn't even have to worry about me using your info to compete against you, lol)

I'll gladly help shovel spent grain and other shit if it means getting to siphon off some wisdom while I work.

I'm always willing to chat over beer but I don't invite people to work in my brewhouse unless they're on the payroll and have signed off on nondisclosure agreement :cheers2:

New beer alert!

We've got a new brew launching this Friday @ noon for pints and growler fills.

Danko is a Simcoe SMaSH DIPA, other than the hops it's virtually identical to our other SMaSH brews; Double Orange Ale, Deity, All Falc'd Up and RSMA.

We highly recommend getting the fuck on the good shit, peeps.

Danko DIPA
7.5% ABV
10 SRM
100+ IBU

Because Simcoe is known for it, I was expecting this one, like the Deity, to have some real savory notes to it in the garlic/onion vein. But I'm not tasting that at all. Not as musky as I was expecting either, and it may have the smoothest bitterness of all the SMaSHes so far. DOA might still be my favorite, but fuck this is good.
