Greetings from dartmouth
My name is Jim, I have been making beer in one form or another for years.
Kits, extracts, BIAB, full grain, I am partial to IPA, lots of bitterness,
lots of aroma. I put together a full grain 10 gallon system over the winter
and looking forward to getting started. Perhaps share with some fellow Brewnosers.

Welcome, Jim. What area of Dartmouth are you in? I'm in Woodlawn.
Tell us about your 10 gallon setup. Propane or electric?

Re: Greetings from dartmouth

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Re: Greetings from dartmouth
Thanks everyone, thanks for the welcomes. I have a 10 gallon pot for hot water, cooler for mash tun, false bottom, and a half barrel keg
converted to my brew pot with 60 l speidel fermenter, SS 1/2 barrel fermenter with tri clamps (arriving soon) Using propane,
still need a pump and some tubing and quick connects. I have always bottled, getting into kegs now.
And hey RubberToe, I am also in Woodlawn, live up on Dorothea. hit me up sometime if you like.

Welcome aboard!
If you're interested, we'll be getting together for our monthly meeting Tuesday, where we share homebrew and commercial brews and talk beer and everything else. I don't believe a venue has been chosen yet, but it's a go each and every month.
