Hi from Trenton NS

Post by Dragonman » Wed Aug 08, 2012 6:15 pm

Hi all, its been quite awhile since I last brewed and that was mostly kits and a little mini mash brews, just getting back into it again and haven't decided what I'm going to do yet. Still collecting up some new gear that I don't already have. :spilly:

:welcome:
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

I have only been here since Sept, came from Middleton in the Valley. Is there any good places around here besides Water N Wine to buy brewing supplies?

Not sure there. We deal with NG in HFX for the most part.

I'm just outside New Glasgow, in Woodburn

I suggest you gather a few recipes that you'd like to make, hopefully with some similar ingredients, and then get in on the next NCM group buy

we're one closer to a Pictou County chapter!!! :spilly:
