Hello/Bonjour Everyone
Hello Everyone,
My name is Yves, I'm from all over the country pretty much, making the South Shore my home for the last several year.
I've been all grain brewing for around 6 year now.
Love the NS micro's and beer scene, my favorites would be Hell Bay (love what he's doing), Rockbottom, Rudder's, and pretty much all of the NS and NB micro's. Can't wait for the new ones to open like Big Spruce, Bridge, and South Shore Brewing (although the rumour down here is that they are going to be making a Bud clone, but I've learned how much faith to put into rumours!).
This forum is a great resource for me, keep up the good work!

Re: Hello/Bonjour Everyone

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.
