New to the forum
Just wanted to say hello!
Have been brewing extract kits for the longest time and finally decided to make the leap to all grain. Have spent the last month or so reading like crazy and learning as much as I can. I put down my first batch last week (Oatmeal Stout) and loved doing it so much I already have plans for my next couple of batches!
It's nice to find a place where fellow Maritimers (I am from PEI) can meet up and discuss all things brew!
Great site by the way!

Welcome! Are you living on the Island now? There are a few of us Aleanders around on the forum doing all-grain as well.

Check the Aleanders sub-section if that wasn't clear in hogie's post. Good group of guys over there. We are still loosely talking about a bigger SAAZ/Aleanders meeting, but its mostly talk right now.

Welcome, Matt!
Glad to hear your first AG recipe was a success. Check out the Events section for our monthly meetings in Halifax, Amherst and Charlottetown, as well as special events (like Hoptoberfest, in 3 weeks).

Re: New to the forum
Thanks everyone for the welcome! I am outside of Charlottetown (Johnson's River way). I will definitely check out the Aleanders section! Great to actually meet some other people around the island that are as interested in brewing as I am! Can't wait to get to know everyone!

Hi there. Also from Charlottetown and getting into all-grain. Looking forward to bulk buys and meetups if that sort of thing is available! Cheers..
