another one from Newfoundland
Hi folks, Chris MacDonald just let me know about this site, I haven't looked around much yet but I will be stopping in for a little support when I get my next batch of beer going. Enough time at home will be helpful.
Jimmy, I see you're one of the main guys, I'll PM you about a little project I'm working on.
Cheers

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

Re: another one from Newfoundland

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Can't have you horning in on my action

Welcome to the BrewNosers

And if you want to taste a Revolution and perhaps a Cantillon Gueuze, in a few weeks I'll be around the bay.. up the shore from you in Heart's Delight.
So what are you brewing?

Hey Tony, saw you on the map. Tried to add myself but it doesn't want to work from my iPad. And of course I want to taste a little more Revolution and Cantillon, do you have the Bio geueze or one of the others? What else do you have in your cellar?
As for brewing I think I want to go all grain on the next one. I'm brand new to brewing and have only done one kit so far that came out ok, drinkable at any rate. I just need a week at home to get it into secondary.
How far down the road from Hearts Content is Hearts Delight?

Great to meet you last night, Mike! Great event. Looking forward to a long and happy relationship!
Tony's pretty trustworthy, so if I can bring back some beer for you in 2 weeks, he'll hold onto it until you return.
I'll bug you via email for some info for the blog.

Yes, good to meet you too. Glad to have a new friend to bring occasional beer deliveries; and emailing you the cash to pay for it is oh so easy.
You're going to Philly between now and then? I'd love a bottle of something interesting to put in the old cellar but no worries if you're filling up your luggage for yourself.
Stephen Beaumont gave me a few tips of places to look for in Sao Paolo, I'm hoping to bring a few bottles from there too.
If you find any Revolution still kicking around NS I'd take one or two.

Um, I dunno, he looks pretty shifty and after all he still owes you $20 for the Cantillon and Hopyardchalmers wrote: Tony's pretty trustworthy, so if I can bring back some beer for you in 2 weeks, he'll hold onto it until you return.
.

Don't forget, I won't be back myself until the 29th, although you can leave it with Frank, Dwayne or Pete
and I'll get it when I get back so I can get it to him. Had a good time at QV did you? I should have went, but had too many
things to do Thursday night.
Mike, Heart's Delight is 16 Kms up from Heart's Content.
I go home quite a lot, but am working full time in St John's and live in the Pearl.
I have only a couple of bottles of Cantillon Bio along with the Revolution. Beer don't last long enough for me to cellar it.
I will be bringing a bottle of Bio to our annual Big Brew which should be close to teach a friend to home brew day in May.
Not much left from last Christmas when I had this.

Nice liwttle collection there Tony, and to keep stuff in the cellar you just need to keep buying more session beer to keep from being temted by the cellar beers. That Cantillion will last forever and the Revolution will keep for a few easily.
I'm in town a lot and stay in Airport Heights when I am, we should catch up for a beer.
I'll be home around the 27th

We usually meet on the first Wed night of the month at the Yellow Belly for a pint and a discussion, although I won't make it in April.
Yeah, we sure could meet up for a pint somewhere when I get back though.
Cheers

I won't make that one either as I'll be in Corner Brook on a little job.
