I have been a member of this forum for a couple of years now, but have not been active. I've been busy finishing school, but now have free time again to brew more beer! I am hoping to become more active in the brewnoser community away from the keyboard and participate in some meet ups in the HRM as well as getting my hands dirty and begin all-grain brewing soon enough!
Do any of you have any other suggestions for becoming more active with the brewing community in Halifax? I really just wanna talk to ear off of some fellow beer-obsessed zymurgists, share some pints, and meet some new people.
For the past two years in school, I've made about 10 batches of partial mash kits from the Noble Grape, one completely extract kit, and one small (1 gallon) stove-top all-grain batch with varying degrees of success. I recently acquired a sanke keg from a friend for free (score!
