New to Brewnosers!

Post by FooFytr » Tue Feb 18, 2014 3:21 pm

I am brand new to Brewnosers and love it already!! Currently on the go I've got a Malbec and a Shiraz in the primary stage (kits), bottled my Festa Brew ESB 3 weeks ago and have had great success in the last year with all brews. I've had great support from my local NG stores, Quinpool and Bayers Lake locations. I am in the middle stages of a fermentation box build (using it as I go) and would love to share the details of the build. We keep our place pretty cold in the winter to save on power (thanks NSPower :) and the fermentation box has been a great help already. I've got a Johnson controls A419 in use and am looking to really geek-out my setup by incorporating a Raspberry Pi in the mix soon.

Thanks so much for having me and I look forward to learning and sharing a ton!!

Cheers!!!

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.
