A late greeting from Windsor

Post by evanisnor » Sat Jun 21, 2014 8:02 pm

Hey! I've been posting here for a couple of weeks. I figured I should introduce myself anyway.

I hail from the Valley. New Minas to be precise. I've spent the majority of my post-secondary life living and travelling between there and HRM. I write code. I love beer. Working with other beer nerds in downtown Halifax makes it easy to love beer (and get fat).

I was directed here by this guy named Mike Orr who seems to spend more time at Stillwell than the employees do.

I have two 1gal extract brews under my belt and I'm desperately trying to procure equipment for my first BIAB using my own recipe. The struggle is real.

Thank you for your hospitality thus far. I'll see if I can make it to a meeting someday soon! :rockin:

PS. Have some riffage: http://egypt1.bandcamp.com/album/become-the-sun

Welcome aboard!

As HP said, lots of Valley brewers on here, so you're in good company.

Beer is in the running for the healthiest of all alcoholic beverages. It has antibiotic, antimicrobial, and antifungal properties. It has been proven that drinking up to 3 beers a day decreases your risk of heart disease by around 30% and it also lowers your risk of getting diseases like diabetes. Beer is also chock full of important vitamins and minerals that you need to survive.
