Hello all!
I've just gotten serious about making beer at home after the girl bought a wine kit. So far only Festa Brew kits have been tried, but I am comitted to better tasting beverages than what I used to drink.

Welcome, you've come to the right place.
Hoptoberfest is coming up soon and would be a good spot for you to try some of the brews made by club members

Hello Jack.
There's nothing wrong with FestaBrews, except that somebody else did all the interesting stuff with it

But even with a Festabrew, you can play a bit.

Baby steps everyone!
My knowledge about beer now compared to 4 months ago makes me feel that I didn't know what beer WAS. I couldn't even give the simple description that beer is the conflicting flavours of the bitterness of hops to balance out the sweetness of the malts. I did not know where beer came from (beer fairy?). I expect to do much more soon enough.
Thank you for the welcomes!

Welcome, Jack. Festa makes a hell of a brew avaliable for us to use to make great beer. I sometimes think that if I had access to Festa Brew
when I first started, I wouldn't have bothered to go AG.
But I've been wrong once before

yeah, I'm not sure I'd go that far. I started with festa, but it won't be how I end...
