Hey folks,
Google brought me here, who would have known. I'm local, been living here in NS all my life. I used to make "home-brew" back in the 80s-90s but gave it up for many years during the raising of my kids.
Now after making wine for the last 6 or 7 years , and rediscovering the craft beer scene here in Atlantic Canada, I am getting back into it. I have been looking for a Kegerator for a while as others have posted , bottling sucks , even though I still have Labatts' quart bottles and more Grolsh bottles than i can shake a stick at. Plus with a beer gun, hopefully I can drink from the leftover bottles after kegging. Found the Kegerator on Best Buy for 399.00 including the tank hoses and everything to get me started, now I need to start customizing because thats half the fun isn't it?
Looking to get into scratch brewing and can't wait to hopefully meet some of you folks on here.
Cheers
Andy

Re: Can't Wait
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.
