New to all grain brewing

Post by Mrmegahurtz » Sat Feb 04, 2017 2:23 pm

Hello,

Just starting out brewing from all grains. I have made Festa, cooper's, etc. Kits for years, also make a dozen or so wine kits.

Excited to have beer on tap at home!

Festa is all grain but now you'll be cooking your own wort. I started over a year ago and greatly enjoy it. I still do extract and partial and lots of Festa cuz it's good and I'm lazy at times.Cheers and welcome!
At Bat: several Czech Pils
On Deck: Cream Ale
In the Hole: Kolsch
Clean Up: Tall Ships Ale clones
On tap: Propeller Pils, Festa Cream Ale

Festa is all good to talk about. Festa is the one that I have extracted the most.

Festa is all grain no question...no extraction required. If you're not cooking your own, as with Festa, you're a "fermenter". The next stage is to cook up a batch either extract, partial or all grain. Then you're a brewer. Regardless of your starting points, welcome!
