Hey guys, I just joined the forum today. I am not a homebrewer (not right now anyway), but I think I do fit the other options for being a member of this group. I am a huge fan of microbrew beers and craft beers. I am from NS originally (Amherst), but spent 14 years in Ottawa where I really got to try many different brews.
I am back in NS and living in Halifax for the last five years. I was looking for information on beer tasting clubs in Halifax and the guys at Garrison's brewery referred me to your group. I hope to participate in any tasting events that might be going on and to contribute to the discussion from time to time.

Welcome. I'm glad to hear that Garrison refers people like you to us. We should probably make sure all the micros, brewpubs, and homebrew stores know about us when people ask about home brew/tasting groups.
