Hello from Windsor Junction
Hello Have been making my own beer for a little over 2 years now, have made 21 batches, started with brewingcenter kits and tried lots of different combos fav is red ale with dark malt. Tried 3 fiesta brew kits (red, brown and cervasa) cervasa was the best and my last 3 batches were their kits from grain (barking dog and royal bitter) love the barking dog, all from noble grape. Next step in my progression is to get myself set up with a co2 system. Have 5 corneys and am looking to get a temp setup going until I build my bar. Have lurked here for about a month and figured it was time to say hello. Look forward to expanding my knowledge and skill brewing beer, i see many terms that i need to decypher to understand but I am looking forward to it with the groups help...Cheers...John

Re: Hello from Windsor Junction

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Re: Hello from Windsor Junction
Thank you for letting me join the group have only had the chance to meet KMcK twice thanks to this board and kijiji...Look forward to meeting many more of you in the near future...I'm still very new to brewing and have only started brewing from NG grain kits and like the results from them. I hope I do not drive people crazy with stupid questions but its the only way i'm going to learn more so sorry in advance...Currently working on setting up my wet bar and moving from bottles to kegs and learning as I go there as well...I know there is a wealth of knoweledge here and hope I can tap into it...

Ask away! We were all noobs once.
Reading will only take you so far, then you need to start asking questions.
