Mr. Beer graduate

1 - Wandered in to the Home Outfitters in Bayer's Lake for a coffee grinder a few months back, walked out with a clearance Mr. Beer kit.
2 - Enjoyed it more than I expected
4 - Decided to go a little further and get a better setup than Mr. Beer (You can snag a kit with the 2G fermenter, bottles/caps and a can of wort for $33 tax in over at the failed Home Outfitters now by the way). Bought a fermentasaurus, C02 cannister, and a regulator off kijiji
3 - Wife became suspicious of line items in budget/smell in basement
4 - Cranked out a batch of hard cider, that seems to be reducing the complaints.
5 - I now have my first Festa Brew (cream ale) in the fermentasaurus right now.
6 - Will see if I'm still interested in the hobby (and quality of the beer) after a few more batches. Maybe start dry hopping a little. I'll graduate to all grain brewing from there.
All in all, I'm kind of excited about the hobby.
