Yet another new guy!!
Good day all:
I have just started brewing my own beer a few days ago so as the intro says I am a true newby. I'm hoping to learn lots from the members on this board as my knowledge of brewing beer is virtually 0. All I know is that I like to drink beer so what better way to enjoy the hobby than to learn to make my own. I jumped right in and bought a kegerator and a few kegs so now I have to learn the ins and outs of making beer. I'm located in Greenwood so have a few brew shops around but still limited on what I can get.
Cheers

Re: Yet another new guy!!
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.
