Hello, just moved back east
Howdy Brew Nosers.
In fact I think I used to be a member a couple years ago when I was brewing but had to move to the ONT for a while but am now back.
Looking to get back into brewing, I bought a couple of the coke kegs that were for sale I think from a member from here.
Back in Lower Sackville and working in Bedford.
Looking specifically for a CO2 canister and regulator to build my 3rd keg fridge.
Maybe I should build a keezer this time?

Dude,
I spent MANY years out on Vancouver Island, and I also just moved home a few years back.
There's NO place like home and being in the maritimes!!
Welcome home and welcome to the forum!

Hart & Thistle is between Salty's restaurant and the ferry terminal on Upper Water St. Right on the boardwalk in a mall type building that used to be called the Harbourside Market.NScooknet wrote:Probably a stupid question, but where is the Heart and Thistle?

I'll be tapping the new beers at Rockbottom 1st week of December

Re: Hello, just moved back east
So are you guys still meeting at H&T then?
Or do we just follow NASH around to wherever and whenever he opens a keg?
lol
I am free Saturday if there is any pint drinking going on
(My wife and I work opposite schedules so I don't get out much)

We don't have too many big meets down there like we used to but most of the boys still make their rounds. The 2 beers I have on tap down at the H&T right now are tasting really really good though so it's worth the trip. Well, if you like hops that cover up flaws I mean

We are doing the group buy pickup on Saturday morning, then planning on heading out for beer & lunch somewhere after that. I'd like to go to the Hart & Thistle, but it will depend on the group consensus.Downs wrote:So are you guys still meeting at H&T then?

Good to meet you @ Lion's Head, Downs.
And don't worry, most of us love all shades of beer, just that a good stout seems to be the breakfast beer of choice. No hate on for the Pales!
