Hello from Charlottetown!

Hello,
I am a 30-something ale lover originally from Vancouver. I first got into ale when I lived in Victoria - my boss would condone 'Beer Friday' at work and got me hooked on Phillips. I've lived all over the country and have tasted some really amazing beer - Driftwood, Howe Sound, Tree, Crannog, Red Racer, Storm (BC), Steamworks, Muskoka, Duggans, Great Lakes Brewery, St. Ambroise, Propeller, Granite, Storm (Newfoundland) - to name only a few!
My interests in beer lay in the rich brewing traditions of England... I've dabbled in Belgian ales as well - but I haven't really embraced them as much as I could.
I now live in Charlottetown and the selection is pretty small at the moment... but things are on the up & up.
My professional background is in coffee - I am into roasting, brew techniques, varietals, - coffee & beer go hand in hand in my opinion.
It's a pleasure to be on this forum and I hope to start contributing soon!
Cheers,
