Been reading these posts for a few weeks now - probably time to disengage stealth mode and actually introduce myself.

I've been brewing Festa kits for 2-3 years now and always had it in my head to make the jump away from abracadabra kits to the real thing. To facilitate such glorious activities I needed to have a few things in order:

Dedicated space - I bought a house in Hatchet Lake recently which has a basement "brew corner"
$$$$$ - I've been saving and climbing the corporate food chain!!
Time - My youngest son (4 months now) is finally starting to reach an age where I can half (and only half) predict his sleeping patterns
Knowledge - This forum has enticed even further to get moving and start creating a sudsy empire of limitless potential

I'll be frequenting here for advice as I embark on my journey and also to keep in contact with fellow enthusiasts.

and tell 'em you are a Brewnoser at Noble Grape for a 10% discount. If you frequent more than one store, you'll have to tell them all over again - their computers don't talk to each other.

Lucky man—my son is 10 months and I still can't predict his sleeping patterns…
