Welcome! And now I’m curious about the Ottawa egg rolls vs East Coast ones. I know ours are “interesting”, tell me about Ottawa’s! I thought we had decent shawarma, but am willing to learn, too!

Overall, Ottawa has better food (SOOOO SORRY it's because it's a big city) but Halifax is better overall

Update on me one year later (and a bit):
I now have good gear! Just *kegged* my first beer and OHHHHH is it delicious that was definitely a game changing upgrade thank yoouuuu marketplace
still loving life in lower sackville with my wife and four kids, I'm 30 and looking forward to my first homebrew event whether it's an exchange (christmas advent calendar 2022?) or something else. Cheers all!
with the border no longer and issue, halifax is starting to feel normal with family being able to visit.

Glad the kegging went well. Looks like a nice system. It's definitely a game changer when switching from bottles!
