Hello world

Post by Sanitarium » Thu Feb 23, 2012 1:34 am

Hi folks,

Just learning the ropes in the brewing world; been working with LiverDance and made one of his IPA recipes last week. Results have been very encouraging.. Now looking to brew on a consistent basis. Located in downtown Halifax and can reliably be found at Rogue's Roost and Rock Bottom. No prior experience, but highly keen. Long time fan of brewnosers but first time poster. Presently in the market for 2-3 pepsi kegs and plumbing equipment to complete a 45L square coleman mash tun. Cooler and SS braid are already ticked off the list. Any help would be gratefully appreciated :)

All the best.

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

Welcome! Between the group, OntarioBeerKegs and Jason @ BevTech, you should be up and kegging soon! I wonder if he gives a Brewnosers discount?

:welcome:

I too am in search of a few kegs. I've been piecing a keg setup together over the past little while...and have a dual tap tower and a Danby fridge arriving in the next couple of day. If you see any good deals or need someone to add to an order, shoot me a pm.

:welcome: glad to see you made is on here. I'm looking forward to trying that toasted oatmeal stout!
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.
