I was referred to the Brewnosers by my father who has a co-worker who is involved with you lovely folks. So, my boyfriend and I are ecstatic to get involved and share our brew and gain some knowledge! We've been brewing for three years but only in the last year and a half have moved to beer (previously wine and known to brew some mead). The past year we've gotten into brewing our own wort and slowly experimenting with different recipes. So in January we'll be showing up the our first meeting and can't wait to get involved!

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

We're having brunch at Hart & Thistle on the 22nd of this month - it would be a good chance to meet some of the group.
