Derrick From HRM

Post by dnickerson » Thu Jan 10, 2013 8:27 am

Hello, I have been brewing from the can kits for years and over the past year have discovered the partial extract through the LBS NG and cannot go back to the cans. I hope over the next year gain some knowledge from my fellow martime brewers to try an AG.

Welcome!

If you're ever looking to see the all grain process in action, just post up on the forums and you can normally find someone willing to have you over to watch/help with their brew day.

:welcome:
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Lol I forgot to tell you the Auber 2352 is fucked and doesn't follow the real pid model. Also the P does effect manual mode which is stooooopid.

Sent from the brew timer.

How can the P effect manual mode? You're just picking a percentage and it should should time scale it for your time cycle. If it doesn't work like that, then it is truly fucked.

Nothing official scheduled as of right now, but if there's an interest, you'd be welcome when someone does a brewday, I'm sure.

Welcome aboard!
